Often, but not always, because people describe themselves as lacking the skill or imagination to do so using card and patterned papers in a workshop environment. Many of you will already know what your want to include in your first project ... to record your wedding, christening, or a memory book for someone you have lost.

Wish Big Card

This is a fabulously easy card to make in less than 15 minutes, just rotate the card around and make 4 different cards with the same template! Jdoust pix up the cardstock, Designer Series Papers, Washi Tape and sentiment and you will have a stash of cards for when you need one. A little tip - do not adhere your greeting to the card when you initially make it, but wait until you need a card to send/give to someone and you can simply add the sentiment at the last moment!

I love this card as crumb cake is one of my favourite Stampin Up colours right now and it works so well with the Calypso Coral cardstock and Washi Tape

Blessed Easter

This beautiful stamp set arrived this week and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with it. In the end I decided on an Emboss Resist technique with blender pens for a faux watercolour effect. I am really pleased with it.

Perfect Pennants Mini Album

This is one of Monica Gales creations from our recent Regional Team Training Day and it is so easy to make using the coloured envelopes from the Simply Fabulous Simply Sent card kit. The laser edged cards were also used for the front cover of the album. It was also my first chance to use the new Fringe Scissors to make the tassle .... it was fun to make. I have decorated the album pages with Sweet Sorbet DSP and made tag pockets on some pages to personalise the album with journalling. The tag on the front of the album was made with one of the new tag topper punches ... another new product in this years Spring/Summer catalogue.

The colours dominating the new spring/summer season are basic black, smokey slate, crumb cake, pear pizzaz, crisp cantaloupe, and summer starfruit. Good enough to eat he he

With Valentines Day rapidly approaching, I thought I would share another of my love themed  cards. This one uses the 'See Ya Later' stampset that you could have for free if you spend just £45 on products from any of the current annual or mini catalogues ... how cool is that? The other little find is the paper stack .... perfect for quick makes. This card too less than 10 minutes to design and make ... dress it up or down to your hearts delight. Stampin on the black and smokey slate cardstock with white craft ink pad created a unique cardstock and shows the versatility of rubber stamps if you just look outside the box ... here I have used the FLOWERFUL HEART stamp to cfeate the bacground
