Catalogue Countdown Day 10

Wow ... we are now a third of the way through the month, and that means only 21 days left until the new catalogue launch. The month is just flying past! After today, I will start putting in a few sneak peeks from the new catalogue, so stay vigilant and you will see them.

I have just realised that in my haste, I have photographed the card upside down ... grrr ... I would have gotten away with it if only I hadn't attached the sentiment!! Thankfully is still looks fab, but you wil lneed to stand on your head to read the sentiment.

Todays Stamp Set Focus is

STIPPLED BLOSSOMS (two step stamp set)

I really love this stamp set, but have always used pinks and reds, with the occasional yellow. But whilst I was at the Telford Regional Event in May, one of the swaps used this colour sheme of Pear Pizzaz, Crisp Cantaloupe & Tangerine Tango ... and heme of I have fallen for the combo.

If you haven't used a two step stamp set before, the general rule is you use your lightest colour with the stamps with the least detail. You then over stamp the images with the darker shade of ink and the more details stamps in the set. It is really easy to do with the clear mount, and equally easy to do with wood mounted stamps if you use a Stamp-a-Ma-jig to help you line up the stamps.

I used the scallop border punch for the green panel, with the Needlepoint Textured Impressions Embossing Golder (TIEF) to add texture and interest.
