Stamp Set Showcase Week 4 (4)

I cannot believe we are already half the way through the week!

And todays Wetlands project is this weeks quick make

but it also happens to be the card I have made for my Father-in-Law who is 80 next week!
We don't get to see very much of them as they live in County Tipperary in Southern Ireland, and we are committed to the many animals that reside with us here at the warren. They include around 60 rabbits, 50 guinea pigs, 2 pygmy goats and 2 west highland white terriers ... plus any small animals that are spending their holidays with us in our boarding area.
Anyway I digress he he

As I mentioned yesterday, this week I am trying to show you how versatile Stampin Up products can be by offering you different projects using a core of products.

We begin by cutting a large card from the Project Life Card & tag Die set in Kraft card.
Then cut the smaller card in the die pack using Coastal Cabana blue cardstock.
Stamp your Greeting from the different sentiment stamps in the WETLANDS stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock.
Die cut using the curve edged tag die in the Project Life Die set.
Cut an additional 2 of these tags from Kraft Card to create a mat for the sentiment. To do this, simply cut one of the small die cuts horizontally through the middle, and the second piece needs to be cut through the middle vertically. Stock the corresponding pieces behind your sentiment die cut using Tombow multi-purpose glue.

Using Sahara Sand ink, stamp the Hardwood background stamp straight onto your 6" x 6" card blank
Then using Mossy Meadow ink, randomly stamp the grass stamp over the Kraft card,
On the blue card, stamp the goose using Chocolate Chip ink.
Now stamp the' 80th' from Memorable Moments stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and die cut using the same curved tag from the Project Life die set.
Layer the cards onto the card blank using Stampin Dimensionals
stick the '80th' to the card blank top right. Wind some linen thread around 3 fingers 6 or 7 times and tie off. Stick to the card using Glue Dots
Finally, stick the '80th' to the card blank (top right corner)

Happy Stamping
