Stamp Set Showcase Week 8 (6)

Good Day everyone
I do hope you are all having a good one?
As for me, well I have received my Christmas Goodies order from Stampin Up
I have opened them, with a big smile on my face. There are a few Halloween goodies in there too
So I will be hashing out my makes for both occassions over the next few weeks, before I begin revealing them
If you want to take a peek at the products I may be using, then click on the Autumn/Winter catalogue image at the bottom of this blog and it will take you straight there.

But back to dreams of summery days ... and they are fading fast aren't they!

So todays Gorgeous Grunge card make is coupled with  Kinda Eclectic with that fabulous bright summer sunburst and fluttering butterflies!
Sounds almost good enough to eat, doesn't it he he ...

To begin, you want to make your 5" x 7" card blank from Kraft Card by trimming a piece of 12" cardstock to 10" x 7". Score the long side at 5", fold along the score line and burnish well with your bone folder (Kraft card tends to be thicker than regular cardstock).

Trim a piece of Old Olive cardstock to 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" & put to one side
Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4 1/4" x 6 1/4"
This is the panel you are going to begin stamping on.

Take the Daffodil Delight ink pad and stamp the Startburst in the top left corner
Next, use the spatter stamp in the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, and randomly stamp the cardstock using Coastal Cabana ink
Over stamp this over the lower third of the cardstock, with the leaf stamp in Old Olive ink, using First and Second generation stamping to create the illusion of depth to your card.
Mount your stamped cardstock onto the Old Olive cardstock you trimmed to size earlier
Srap a piece of Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon around the cardstock and tie with a bow.

Next stamp 3 more of the leaf stamps onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. Cut these out with your paper snips
Attach these onto the mounted cardstock using Stampin Dimensionals (see the photo below).

Stamp a few Butterflies from Kinda Eclectic using Blackberry Bliss ink. Die cut using the Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly punches. Attach to the card topper with Stampin Dimensionals, and add a few Basic Rhinestones to the butterflies.

Finish by stamping your sentiment of Choice from the And Many More stamp set.
Die cut using the Word Window Punch
Die cut a label using Old Olive cardstock and the Modern Label punch. Mount the sentiment onto the label and mount onto the card topper with Stampin Dimensionals
Finally, mount the topper onto the card blank using Sticky Strip
Happy Stamping
