Stamp Set Showcase Week 12 (7)

VISIONS OF SANTA
DAY 7

Today brings the final Gift Box
This is another of Stampin up's flat packed gift boxes

Tag A Bag Gift Boxes
They come in packs of 8 Kraft Fold Flat boxes, so easy to store, and each box comes with an acetate sleeve
Great for cookies, cakes, sweets etc.
and you can dry emboss them, heat emboss them, or, like todays project, add some Designer Series Paper to the sides of the box.

To begin, take your Tag A Bag gift Box and assemble it
Cut the following pieces of DSP from the
Trim The Tree Designer Series Paper Stack to:
2 @ 5cms x 5.5cms
2 @ 5cms x 5.5cms
Attach to the corresponding sides of the box using Tombow mP Glue.

For the tag, you will need the Northern Flurry Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) and the Chalk Talk framelits

Die cut the large tag from Cherry Cobbler cardstock
Dry emboss this tag with the Northern Flurry TIEF
Stamp the sentiment .MAY VISIONS OF SANTA ,,, onto whisper white cardstock using black memento ink
Use your Old OLive Blendabilities Assortment and create a blended & graduated background.
Die cut the sentiment using the next largest Chalk Talk tag, and using Stampin Dimensionals, mount the smaller tag on top of the larger tag.
Tie the tag on the box using the Cherry Cobbler Chevron Ribbon
Now for the bow
Trim x6 pieces of DSP from the paper stack measuring 2cm x 16.5cms
You are going to twist each piece of DSP to create a figure of 8 shape, secure the ends with a glue dot, repeat this with all pieces of trimmed DSP.
Next you are going to mount each of the twisted pieces of DSP one on top of the other using a couple of glue dots, rotate each strip slightly as you mount the twisted strips. you should be left with
a decorative paper bow, stick this onto the top of the tag using Glue Dots again,

Add a few basic Rhinestones and you are done :)

Happy Stamping
