Stamp Set Showcase Week 16 (1) Bright & Beautiful

Good Morning People
Today is the day for a new Stamp Set Showcase, and this week it is another festive stamp set

BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL

This week is a week of cards, heat embossing, a little Dry Embossing and sponging

And to kick us off today, I am using a combination of Soft Suede, Marina Mist and Crumb Cake on a crisp Whisper White base.

So lets get the tutorial!

Begin by making the 6" card blank by trimming a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 15cms x 30cms. Score the long side at 15cms, fold, and burnish the fold. Put to one side.

Now we get into the Heat Embossing
On Whisper White cardstock Ink the large star stamp with with Versamark ink pad, and then ink the stamp with Soft Suede ink, and sprinkle with  Clear Embossing Powder. Heat with the heat tool working your way around the stamped image until all the embossing powder has melted.

Repeat this process with the medium size star stamp, but ink with Versamark and then ink with Marina Mist ink (as opposed to Soft Suede).
Repeat again, using Soft Sky ink for the smallest star stamp after inking with Versamark.
Now Die Cut all three of the stars using your Big Shot.
Then Die Cut a star from Gold Glimmer Paper (the next size up star die from the large star stamp).

Use Stampin Dimensionals to pop up each star layer, one on top of the other creating a 3D star.
Next, Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 8cms x 14.5cms.
Randomly stamp this cardstock with a combination of Crumb Cake ink and Soft Sky ink using the smallest star stamp.
Mat (layer) this onto a piece of Gold Glimmer Cardstock measuring 8.5cms x 25cms. Adhere the two together using Stampin Dimensionals (I found these to be the best adhesive for layering that includes Glimmer cardstock).

Stamp your sentiment greeting using Soft Suede ink to the centre bottom of your card blank.

Adhere the glimmer/stamped cardstock layer onto your card blank, across the middle of the card blank.

Attach your layered stars to the centre of this panel
Add a large'ish Basic Rhinestone to the centre of the top star .

Now sit back and enjoy your creation
