Welcome back for another day of

LOVELY AS A TREE

And today we have another Autumnal Card

This one uses the baby wipe ink pad from Day 1
But the inks will have blended more and I have added in a couple of Regals inks to darken the autumnal shades of colour in the 'ink pad' plus a little bakes brown sugar. So I do hope you have kept the baby wipe pad in a plastic bag or container since earlier in the week? After all I do love to be thrifty he he

You will need a 6" Square (15cm sq) Whisper White Card Blank

Begin by trimming a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 12 cms x 12 cms

Get out your Baby Wipe ink Pad (or revisit day one of this weeks stamp set showcase for instructions, and add a few drops of each of the following re-inker to the baby wipe:

Baked Brown Sugar
Always Artichoke
& Cajun Craze

Next, you just need to re-moisturise the baby with with a little water misting, but DO NOT saturate the baby wipe.
Then randomly stamp the oak leaf over the cardstock ensuring you get leaves stamped from each of the colours (they should blend to give the appearance of leaves changing colour in the late Autumn.
Clean your stamp with a fresh baby wipe but do not discard.
Mat (layer) this panel onto a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock measuring 12.5 cms x 12.5 cms
Then mat this layer onto a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock measuring 13 cms x 13 cms.
Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of this panel and attach to the centre of the card blank.

Ink off some of the colour of this fresh baby wipe without drying out the baby wipe too much.

You are now going to make the background for the Oak Tree in the stamp set.
Begin by using the residual ink on the baby wipe to ink the edges of a smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock
measuring 9 cms x 9cms.
Then wipe the baby wipe in a swirling/marbling motion to create a subtle background. Give the cardstock a few moments to dry, and then stamp the oak tree on this panel using Early Espresso Ink.
Mat this onto a piece of Always Artichoke cardstock measuring 9.5 cms x 9.5 cms
Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of this panel.
Wrap around a piece of Early Espresso Ribbon & tie a bow. I have used some of my left over, now retired 1/8" taffeta ribbon, but the Seam Binding ribbon would be a fab substitute if you do not have any of the taffeta ribbon.

Finish by stamping  your sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock using Early Espresso ink/ Punch the sentiment using the large oval punch and layer this onto a piece of Always Artichoke cardstock using the scallop oval punch/ Layer them up using Stampin Dimensionals and mount onto the card.

And that is it .... over to you guys .... and please share your photo's as I would love to see them.

Happy Stamping
