Stamp Set Showcase Week 21 (2) 25 Days Advent Countdown

Good morning to day two of the 2014 Advent Countdown 

We are concentrating on the 25 Days stamp set for making simple Advent Tags, and a wide range of other Christmas Themed stamp sets to get us through to Christmas Day

I love using faux stitching, especially on Christmas Cards, Tags and gift Packaging, and simple is perfect for tags that generally are thrown away unless you are one for journalling / scrapbooking

Today's Advent tag has been stamped onto Whisper White card stock and layered onto Under The Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP),  and then the tag topper has been mounted onto a Kraft Card gift tag, The faux white stitching was drawn using the Uni-Ball Signo Whisper White Gel Pen. I used the handheld 1/8" punch to make a hole in the tag and then added some Gold thick bakers twine.

The tag topper was made using Large Oval Punch (whisper White cardstock), Scallop Oval Punch (Gold Glimmer Paper),  & finally the Decorative Label Punch in Kraft Card.

And todays card uses a retired Sentiment Stamp set that I purchased from the Clearance Rack on my Demonstrator Website ... so keep you eye on the Clearance Rack if you want to bag yourself some amazing bargains.

Use a DL (Tall) Whisper White card blank, The template I used yesterday, is the same as todays, so you have the same Banners and a Circle Topper, but I have used Gold Glimmer Paper instead of the I Love Lace DSP I made ... so pop over to yesterdays blog post for the full tutorial

Don't forget your Old Olive faux stitching around the circle topper and add some Gold Glimmer Stars which are best applied using Stampin Dimensionals or Mini Glue Dots.

Stamp the Lovely as a Tree 4 trees Stamp in the bottom third of the card blank using Mossy Meadow ink. Mat this onto Old Olive cardstock. The layers are exactly the same as yesterdays card,

 And Finally, here is todays Simply Sent Star that comes in a kit and includes the accessories too.

I have gone with the green as it matches todays Advent Taag, and the card, so it seemed fitting.
