Stamp Set Showcase Week 22 (5) 25 Days Advent Countdown

Are you looking for a quick to make Favour for your Christmas Table?
If so, look nor further,

You can make 6 or these little Cracker / Bonbon favours per 12" sheet of cardstock,
I will be making these in Kraft Cardstock with gold snowflakes for our Christmas Table

I have CASED the project from my friend, Pippa Jones, over at Paper Piskies (see my favourite blog list)

Begin by Trimming a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock to 11.5 cms x 10 cms
Stamp the cardstock with Many Merry Stars Stamp Set using Silver Encore ink

Now for the scoring

With the longer side at the top of your Scoring Board (metric Plate), scire at:
2.5, 5, 7.5, & 10 cms

Next rotate the cardstock by 90 degrees, and score the cardstock at 2, 4, 6, & 8 cms
Fold and burnish all the score lines

Now it is time for the Envelope Punch Board (EPB)

You are only going to use the punch for this project, but it leaves a gorgeous mosaic pattern where you will tie the ribbon.Working with th1ist right hand side score line, (you will need to fold over all but the first punched cardstock), you need to insert the cardstock into the punch keeping that first vertical score line in the centre of the punch, and PUNCH
Fold the next score line and punch through the folded cardstock, repeat this until each section is punched EXCEPT the narrower tab
(See the above diagram)

Adhere the small tab to make the box complete, using a little Tombow Multi-Purpose Glue.
Use a little Silver Ribbon to tie one end to create the cracker/bonbon look (see the photo below)
Insert your favour, and tie the open end.
Make the flower for the top by punching one Always Artichoke and 2 Bermuda Bay Flowers /leaves using the Petite Petal Punch
Spritz the punched cardstock, and scrunch the leaves/petals, open them back out and use Glue Dots to adhere each layer on top of each other & attach tot he favour box.

Now here is the first reveal from the coming Spring/Summer catalogue
Do you see the sparkly sequin in the centre of the flower?
Well this is the new colour for the new catty! Yes, Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim!
You won't be able to order it until early January though ... sorry ...

But a gold sequin or a sparkly Basic Rhinestone would look fab in the centre of the flower,
And there you have it for today
I hope you enjoy it ...
