Now today, I have a 3D product for you to make. The Berry Basket is a glorious item and perfect to give as a hostess gift, favours etc if filled with goodies

This is Part One of a two part tutorial.

Today shows you how to make the Berry Basket

And tomorrow, I will be showing you how to make your own paper/card bouquet

And so both days are Photograph heavy, but it is easier with the illustrations

There is just 4 products need for today

The Berry Basket Bigz Die

Pear Pizzaz Cardstock

Handheld Stapler

Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue

Tools

Big Shot with Extension Cutting Plates

Bone Folder

Begin by running two pieces of cardstock through your Big Shot using the Berry Basket Die with the following sandwich:

Bigz Die

Extension Cutting Plate

You will end up with 2 pieces to create the basic basket

2  Straight Strips, each with one score line at one end

2 Scallop strips, again, each piece is scored at one end

&

1 slightly tapered strip (the handle)

remove all the small pieces fromt the bases of the Berry Basket

Score each piece where they have been scored.

Add some Tombow to the base of one berry basket base and adhere on top of the other at right angles to each other.  

use a tiny dot of Tombow to adhere the straight and scalloped strips so they each make a square

Fold up the berry basket, slot the straight square over the top and secure with a mini staple in each corner.

Attach the handles to the inside of the basket as shown using a little Tombow

Slot over scallop square and staple in place with mini staples  in each corner again (missing the first set of staples)

And that is it ... Yes it is really that simple!
