Stamp Set Showcase 2015 From My Heart meets Dotty Angles & Petal Potpourri

Today I have a really Quick Sentimental Card for you with a mash up of retiring stamps, Spring/Summer Catalogue Stamps, and a stamp set that is rolling over to the forthcoming 2015-2016 Catalogue

For me it has a touch of vintage spring

If you don't already own the FROM MY HEART Stamp Set, you should! It is truly beautiful and one of my sentimental favourites.
BUT
Time is running out, as the retiring stamps (this being one of them) are only available whilst stocks last. To check it out, simply click on the Retiring banner below and it will take you straight to my store where you can view this stamp set and all the other retiring items, and purchase them too.

If you don't see something ... then it is already sold out ... so with up to 50% off on retiring products, you need to get over there with a hop skip and skedaddle!

This was another fun card to make,
I began by trimming my Whisper White cardstock to size (the card shown is an A6, mat onto a slightly larger Whisper White panel, and then mounted on a White Card Blank.

You are only working with the smallest of the layers.
Begin by stamping the stamp of your choice from the From My Heart Stamp Set using Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad.
Next, stamp your background using the circle stamp from Dotty Angles first using Daffodil Delight, clean your stamp, and then stamp again using Old Olive Classic Ink Pad, ensuring you overlap the stamps.
Now you need to stamp a couple of flowers from the Petal Potpourri Stamp Set (in the Spring/Summer Catalogue & also comes as a bundle with the co-ordinating punch).

Stamp them onto Whisper White cardstock using Daffodil Delight Classic Ink Pad and then sponge the edges of the flowers using the same colour ink. Punch out the flowers.
Now to make the flowers dimensional.

Snip between two of the petals to the centre of the flower. Apply a tiny piece of adhesive to the edge of one side and then overlap the petals (so you end up with one less petal). Use your bone folder to gently curl the petals. Thread a naturals button with linen thread and tie a bow. Use a few glue dots to adhere the button to the centre of the flower. Repeat with the second flower.

Stamp a couple of the small flowers, using Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad and punch them out using 7/8" scallop circle punch. Attach a piece of Tea Lace Doily to the bottom of the card front, then attach the flowers to the card front using Stampin Dimensionals as shown.
