Stampin Up! Watercolour Shadows & Highlights Technique

Stampin Up Has just published a new Watercolour technique video
So I have had a go myself, and here are some examples for you before watching the video yourself.
Once you have, I just know that you will want to try it too
I always love using different colouring techniques, but water colour is still a skill I am working on, and these latest video's from Stampin Up! are proving to be a real help
I would love to hear how you get on with practicing this technique?

And don't forget, if you join my Pinterest Community Board, you can share your creations on there. The only proviso is that you have used some Stampin Up! products.

I have used the Giggle Greetings Stamp Set today, and yes, that is the same as in the video at the bottom of today's posting.

But rather than just one card today, I have done 4 cards, so you can see how the watercolour technique works with all the stamps in the stamp set!

If you would like to join my community Pinterest Board, simply email me and I will sent you an invitation

the intendity of colour that comes with using the 2014 - 2016 Incolours, worked really well with these bright and cheery stamps that are made for various colouring techniques.

Remember to use Stazon Black Ink when watercolou0ring, to prevent the inks bleeding outside the image(s)

I haven't done a tutorial, as the video shows the Highlights and Shadows technique really well.

Here are the products I have used today. Click the product icons to view them or order them

Table built using Product Table Builder by The Crafty Owl - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Feel free topost your version of these cards / techniques on my Pinterest Community Board
If you have not already received an invitation, please email me and I will send you and invite.
