A Dozen Thoughts meets Pappillon Potpourri

Now before you nag me because I didn't do a blog post yesterday
I had a very Frustrating Day and a Frustrating reason for not getting on line!
Oh Yes ... and it was ...

WINDOWS 10!!!! & Rain, Rain and more Rain!

Add in living in a rural location
to say the past 48 hours has been difficult would be an understatement!

Yes, all 3 of our PC's/Laptops, despite planning to stagger the installation of Windows 10, they all re-started and began the download at the same time
Then there came all the programme upgrades, and programme compatibility issues.
Well I was pulling my hair out and and stomping about in frustration.
Then the rain began, and didn't stop. With no fibre optics where we live, and being on the low point with run off from the local farmland, the internet went out, followed by the phones ... mobiles and landline ... arghhhhhh!!!!!

So I went to be last night, very unhappy, and little had changed earlier today, so off I toddles to clean out my guinea pigs, and when I came beck into the house, all had returned to normal ... Yay!

So before things are jinxed, lets get to the tutorial.

And today is another using the Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper Stack
And I have combined it with both the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and Pappillon Potpourri Stamp Set, a Tea Lace Doily, some aoft, wafting Pink Pirouette Seam Binding Ribbon, and a few basic pearls and some sparkling Basic Rhinestones.
And here are the products I have used today.
Click on the product icons below to view them in more detail

Table built using Product Table Builder by The Crafty Owl - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

And this is how I mad it ...
Begin by making your 6" square Card Base using A4 Thicker Whisper White Cardstock.
Trim a piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock to 14.4 cms x 14.4 cms
Mount this onto your card base using Fast Fuse Adhesive.

Then trim a piece of Script Wisteriea Wonder Designer Series Paper to 14 cms x 14 cms.
Randomly stamp this piece of DSP using the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and Perfect Plum Classic Ink Pad.

Wrap around a piece of Pink Pirouette Seam Binding Ribbon and tie a fairly large, soft bow,
Then, adhere a Tea Lace Doily to the centre of your card using Fast Fuse.
Then select a couple of the Floral Framelits (that fit snugly inside the Tea Lace Doily.
Die cut the floral framelits using Blushing Bride Floral  DSP, and sponge the edges of the die cuts using a Stampin Sponge and Perfect Plum Classic Ink Pad.
Mount these onto the Tea Lace Doily using Stampin Dimensionals for added depth to the project.

Now, stamp some Butterflies from Pappillon Potpourri Stamp set, using Versamark Ink Pad, onto Frosted Vellum. Dust with White Embossing Powder, and heat set with your Heat Tool.
Punch the flowers out using the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
Attach a couple of butterflies to the Floral Frames Die Cuts.

Next is the Sentiment.
Trim a piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock to 1.5 cms wide. Stamp the sentiment  of your choice from A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set, using Versamark ink pad onto the strip of cardstock. Dust with White Embossing Powder powder and heat set.
Trim the sentiment down, and create a banner end to one end, by inserting the Embossed cardstock in through the top of the Banner Punch and guiding the cardstock between the cutting plates, and punch.
Mount at the top of the card front using Stampin Dimensionals.
Mount the card front onto your card base.
All that is now left for you to do, is to add some pearls and some sparkle.

Most of all, have fun!
