Build A Birthday Cake in Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip

Are you partial to Chocolate Cake?
Yes? Well I know I am! I LOVE chocolate, but it has to have chocolate buttercream between the layers too
And so I used that picture of lust and longing for chocolate cake in my mind, as I designed todays card.
I hope it makes your mouth water .... ha ha ha

And here is a twist ...But you will have to

And here is my chocolate cake in all it's glory.
and below is the small list of products I used to create this card.

Table built using Product Table Builder by The Crafty Owl - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

And here is how I made today's card
Begin by making your A6 card base by trimming a piece of Thicker A4 Whisper White Cardstock to 10.5 cms x 29.6 cms.
Score the long side at 14.8 cms and use your Bone Folder to create a nice crisp fold.
Randomly stamp the card front with the fine splatter stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set using Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink Pad.

Next, Trim another piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 8.5 cms x  12.8 cms
Now for the stamping.
Stamp your cake stand and each layer of 'cake'  using the Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad, leaving approximately a 0.5cm gap between each layer, including the Bunting on top of the cake.

Next, you are going to one at a time, mount the 3 cake layer stamps the wring way round on an acrylic block (i.e. you will mount the stamp with the detailed side of the stamp in contact with the acrylic block, creating a gaux 2 step stamp.)
You are now going to add the chocolate 'Buttercream' by inking up the back of the cake layer stamps using the Crumb Cake Classic Ink Pad.
Mat (layer) this panel onto a piece of Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink Pad measuring 8.9 c,s x 13.2 cms
Next, Stamp the Birthday sentiment from the Build A Birthday Stamp Set onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock using Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad.
Punch this sentiment out using the Washi Label Punch.
Punch another 2 Washi Labels from Pear Pizzaz Cardstock
Cut one in half on the vertical, and one in half on the horizontal.
Adhere the corresponging pieces behind the stamped label, leaving a narrow border, to create a layered label.
Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of the label, and adhere to the front of the cake.
And that is it! ... Job Done
Now it is your turn
