Lovely As A tree and a Baby Wipe Swipe Technique

Before I get to the card I am sharing with you today's card, I need to apo;ogise, and explain white I have not been blogging with my usual gusto and frequency.

It has abeen a combination of things, that have led to me struggling (I am not after sympathy), and it has been something of a combination of challenges that include, our dog Hamish having some complications from his radiotherapy treatment, meaning he is needing more care than normal; supporting one of our sons as he takes an ex-partner to court to get regular access to his children (and of course, this impacts on us too as grandparents)
And my own health problems.
and it culminated in me having a rather dramatic fall at a family BBQ at the weekend.
So I am on extra pain medication (making me drowsy), and being back in my wheelchair all the time as my back pain is much worse, and I have damaged both knees and one calf
Trust me, I don't do things by half lol !!

Anyhow, I managed to get a few hours in my worksop and created a weeks worth of cards for this weeks blog.
And todays card, has been created from my thriftiness ...

Lovely as a Tree is one of Stampin Up's best selling Stamps, and the reason is it's versatility
I use it for any occasion, and is fab for Christmas Cards, and, well, just about anything.
Todays card gives the appearance of a field fading into the sky.
It came about because I had been making a watercolour card and used a baby wipe to clean out the remaining inks. I simply Swiped the baby sipe across the Whisper White Cardstock from the bottom to the top. Only use a gentle hand or you can end up with bobbling cardstock, which is not pretty!

And here are the products I have used today
Just click on the product icons below to view them in more detail

Table built using Product Table Builder by The Crafty Owl - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

The trees were stamped using Early Espresso Classic Ink PAd, and a ribbon was wrapped around the cardstock and tied with a bow. This is a retired tibbon, but being thrifty, I hate to waste anything, but you will find many other ribbons available in my online store.
The sentiment is from Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set, again stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad.
