Christmas Gift Idea; A5 Notebook Cover Stampin Up! UK

Today's Project would make a lovely gift for a friend, colleague or Teacher, 
Even family members, young and old, would love this as a gift. I know  I would!
It is really quick and simple to make, even children could have a go

I used the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set from Stampin Up in combination with the 2015 - 2016 In Colours of Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss with Mossy Meadow Cardstock for the Mat.

Tutorial

  1. Trim a piece of  Whisper White Cardstock to 19 x 13 cms
  2. Using the Sunburst stamp and Lost Lagoon Classic Ink Pad, stamp 2 starbursts without re-inking the stamp
  3. Ink up the berry stamp with Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink Pad, ad stamp twice without re-inking to create a border along the lower third of the cardstock
  4. Next, stamp the leaf several times without re-inking using the Mossy Meadow Classic Ink Pad.
  5. Using Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere the calendar to the front of the cardstock, just above the stamped berries
  6. Apply Tear & Tape adhesive to all four sides on the back of the panel.
  7. Mat this onto a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock measuring 29.4 x 13.4 cms
  8. Apply Tape and Tear to all for sides of of the back of the Mossy Meadow Meadow Cardstock and attach to the A5 Book Front Cover
  9. Stamp a bitty butterfly in Lost Lagoon Classic Ink Pad, and an Elegant Butterfly using the Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink Pad. (the butterflies are from the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set)
  10. Punch out the butterflies using the Bitty Butterfly & Elegant Butterfly punches
  11. Stamp your sentiment from the Best Thoughts Stamp Set, using Archival Basic Black Classic Ink Pad. ; punch out the sentiment using the Decorative Label Punch 
  12. Attach an elasticated band around the book, to the right side
  13. Attach the stamped  Decorative Label using Stampin Dimensional's toward the top of the cover so the label sits over the elastic band. (not on it)
  14. Attach your butterflies using Mini Glue Dots
