Stampin Up Muslin Bags stamped using the Peaceful Wreath Stamp Set

Today I have another Gift Bag idea for you

How about Stamping onto Muslin Bags? What do you think?

I find them a great way of not only presenting someone with a lovely bag for their gift, but they also get a keepsake to boot

Stamping onto Muslin is a great technique, and you can change the stamped image according to the season or occasion

They are also a great way of creating an Advent Calendar, attach the bags to a piece of twine or ribbon using Thicker Bakers Twine, Ribbon or Clothespins

And they are ethical, since you can recycle them each year, allowing them to become part of your family tradition. They could even be draped around the tree!

TUTORIAL

Cut a piece of Scrap Cardstock to fit inside the Mini Muslin Bag, to prevent ink bleeding through
Mount the Peaceful Wreath Stamp onto an acrylic block, using the Mossy Meadow Classic Ink Pad, stamp onto the centre of the bag (front side only).
Using the Cherry Cobbler Stampin Write Marker (regals collection pack), and the brush tip, paint in all the holly berries, remove the scrap card from inside the bag
Ink Up the Bow & 'Wishing You' stamps using the Cherry Cobbler Stampin Write Marker (or ink pad) and stamp onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Die cut the sentiment using the Tags & Labels Framelits Dies (add in the small hole die)
Thread the tag with a piece of Cherry Cobbler Thicker Bakers Twine and tie around the bag ties
