How To Create Intricate Die Cuts using the Bloomin Heart Thinlits Die, Precision Plate & Big Shot Brush Stampin Up UK

Today I am sharing with you a new tool available to all of you that love intricate Dies but hate the business of expelling all those pesky bits of cardstock that refuse to dislodge themselves from the die cut.

Tutorial

Here is the sandwich you will need to run through your big shot:

Big Shot Multipurpose Platform on Tab 2 (i.e. no tabs open)
Acrylic Cutting Plate
Card Stock
Wax Paper (wax food bags are fine or buy it by the roll)
Die (blades facing downward )
Stampin Up! Precision Plate
You may need to add some Shims (cardstock that is at lease the same size as your die. The need for this will depend on how new or old your Big Shot is)
Run this sandwich through your Big back and forth 4 or 5 times
Before removing the cardstock from the die, check the underside of the cardstock to ensure you have die cut all detail - if you haven't, carefully place back through your big shot again, adding an additional shim
Remove cardstock.
First, rap the back of the die cut by flicking your fingers to remove all really lose cardstock.
Place your die cut face down on the foam mat that comes with the Big Shot Brush, and carefully roll the brush over the areas that still have cardstock in the die cut that needs to come out.
