My Team Swap Card

Every So Often .... generally when there is a new Catalogue or Promotion, Demonstrators will come together and organise a Team Swap. This just means that we follow a remit .... this months swap was to use the Sale A Bration products. We make as many cards as there are Demonstrators taking part in the swap.

Now I can see you sitting there wondering what the benefit of this is? you are, aren't you?

Well the benefit is that we get fresh ideas on how to use Stampin Up! products to give new Demonstrators ideas they can use in their own business, whether they are 'hobby Demonstrators'; Part Time Demonstrators, or Full Time Demonstrators, like me.

We all get days where we hit a creative block, and if this coincides with the planning of an in home Party workshop, Open House event or a class; well you can dig into your stash of card swaps ,and pick out something you can use.

Tutorial

1. Trim a piece of Thicker Whisper Cardstock to 21 x 14.8 cms; score the long side at 10.5 cms; fold & burnish
2. Trim a piece of plain Designer Series Paper from the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 14 x 9.7 cms & mat onto a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock measuring 14.4 x 10.1 cms using Fast Fuse adhesive
3. Trim a piece of contrasting paper from the same DSP pack to 14 x 3 cms & mat onto a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock measuring 14.4 x 3.4 cms; mount onto plain DSP, insetting by 1 cm; mount the card front onto your card base
4. Stamp the large 'Just For You' stamp from Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration 'Botanicals For You' stamp set, onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Mossy Meadow Classic Ink Pad.
5. Die cut the sentiment using the Lots of Labels Framelits Die, using your Big Shot with the Magnetic Platform
6. using the small botanicals stamps from the same stamp set, randomly stamp the die cut using the following classic ink pads:
Mint Macaron; Old Olive; Cajun Craze & Hello Honey
6. Mount the die cut label onto the card front using Stampin Dimensionals to 'pop' it up, & add a Botanical Garden Jewel using a couple of Glue Dots
