Project Life Memories in the Making Journal using Free Sale A Card Pack Stampin Up! UK

Recording your memories is something that we have generally forgotten to do. The days of taking your Camera Film to the be developed is almost a thing of the past, with us relying increasingly on social media as the place to post our precious memories ... and there is nothing wrong in that at all

However, there is something very special about sitting on the floor with your family and a big box of old photo's, cards, letters, and other memorabilia such as theater tickets. It is amazing how long forgotten memories come flooding back

Well that is where scrapbooking comes in. I love traditional scrapbooking, but I am also getting hooked on recording my memories using Project Life Journals. They are a half way house between social media and traditional scrapbooking. It most closely resembles the volumes of Photo Albums that we would all fill and would come out for everyone and anyone interested in seeing out photo's/

Scrapbooking in any form, is a very emotional journey, that can be intense, but comforting at the same time. And the key thing with Project life is that it is quick, and portable, There is a wide range of Card & Accessory Packs, as well as co-ordinating Designer Series Papers.

So today isn't a tutorial per se, but it is an opportunity for me to share some of my Project Life Pages, including our children when they were young, My Wedding, My Dad's 70th Birthday and my Dogs.

If you have the time, watch today's video ... you will hear the emotions as I talk about the Memories in the Making, and I even get choked when I talk about my much missed doggy companion, Hamish.
It was a short and intense roller coaster ride ...
